"The Weeping Water Cafe" is an original live stage play written, directed, and produced by David Boles in 1987. The empty space filler -- starring Devon Schumacher and Jim Hanna -- premiered at the Lincoln Community Playhouse and was subsequently staged for television by David Boles and aired on KPTM-TV in Omaha. The score was composed by Tom Boellstorff. This is the made-for-TV version of the play shot on location in and around Lincoln, Nebraska on 5/3/87.
